Complementing images.

The top one reminds me of today's weather in Colorado: wrapped inside the fog. I kinda like it.

Inspires me to go and do.

Pristine example.

Does anybody know how to post photos larger?

As far as my plans for the summer...

I'm going to thrive.

It'll be tough to find fun things to do since being a college student has pinched the pocket, but I'm looking forward to coffee house concerts (Wisdom Tea House), nearby hiking (my beautiful Colorado mountains), thrift store shopping (Barracuda Bazaar), and soaking up many, many days of sun. And the best part is that I will get to be with good ol' friends and family. Al. Most. There.

Oh, and I agree.

Finals.

I could really use some chinese takeout about now.

Caught.

Henri Cartier-Bresson

I love photos that capture raw, gritty, human emotions that are often not meant to be caught. They call us out. They show us what we don't want to see, so they inspire us to change. In this case, it's just kinda funny.

ArtWalk.

I went to the LA Brewery ArtWalk today. It was sweet. A bunch of local LA artists live in the building complex that used to be the LA brewery and they all open up their studios for the weekend.

Dave Lefner's studio/flat is on the list of dream places that I have to live in some point in my life. Just look at that kitchen! They also had a huge wall mirror with this quote etched onto it:
Life has taught us that love does not only consist in gazing at each other but in looking outward together in the same direction. - Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

Some quirky stuff by Random Nicole.

A piece I liked by Guillermo Bert.

So much talent all condensed into one area.

Send her.

My dear friend Maggie is advancing His Kingdom. If you feel led to, send her some help!

Misunderstood clouds.

I love cloudy weather. Maybe it's because I grew up in a place where it was sunny 300 days of the year, but maybe it's because I just understand that clouds want us to relax and curl up with a cup of tea and appreciate them for what they are: an excuse to be lazy. Or at least an excuse to not be stressed.

Here are some of my adventures from Spring Break.

Miss you, Kayla Bee!

Feeling a spring in my step.

Because I'm going to Texas to see a dear friend.

I'm ready for fish fries, sun, laughter, classic movies, and wide open spaces. Not to mention a kitchen to cook in and a family to adopt me for the week.

April.

I woke up on April first thinking it was like any other day. My dad calls to check up on some things when he says, very nonchalantly, that they sold the house. It's been on the market for a while so I was instantly excited! My head even began to think ahead about moving all of our stuff, etc. Thankfully, he didn't let me go on for too long. "April fools!" He gets me every year.

Hello spring.

I took these of my campus, which is blooming.

"Walk to class
In front of ya
Spilled kefir
On your keffiyah
You look inside
And turn to the door
Drag your feet along the floor

In the afternoon
You're out on the stone and grass
And I'm sleeping on the balcony
After class"

Goodbye winter.

I didn't see enough of you.

My prayer.

You.

And to all my friends, family, and anonymous readers:

Funny Face.

I adore this movie. Lorelai Gilmore says it all. "It's so chock full of... words like chock full and even if Audrey Hepburn was like 20 and Fred Astaire was like 80, he's still Fred Astaire. I mean, he could really tap dance!"

Banana. Starbucks. TOMS.

Some of my recent photos.

Would you believe me if I told you that that banana was a dry one? Looks pretty authentic, huh.

This looks like it was taken in Seattle or Portland. I want to go there someday. It was really taken at this awesome Farmer's Market in Hollywood.

The shoe of Biola college students.
