I'm leaving for the Dominican Republic tomorrow in the a.m. and I was inspired when I stumbled upon this TOMS blog entry. The power of the pen is just as powerful as the tongue when telling a story that touches the heart.

Upcoming adventure.

My wanderlust is finally getting answered! In about a week I'm flying to the Dominican Republic to write the stories and photograph the people. I. Can't. Wait.

Some friends and I went to Pasadena this weekend for a conference and, even though it was cloudy, spring had sprung in full force with beautiful tall trees. Something is growing.

A series of articles have been published by CNN on human trafficking. It's taken long enough for this to go mainstream, but if we are working with perverted and corrupted governments we are gonna need something bigger than our humanitarian efforts.
